Ammonia Service Technician

Wagner-Meinert's nationwide Service group is the most highly skilled, relationship-oriented service group in our industry. Through cutting edge technology and work practices and uncompromising integrity, we will maintain our position as the customers' first call for industrial refrigeration, mechanical, and HVAC/R service. Our goal is to exceed customer and employee expectations with excellent customer service, providing a positive and rewarding work environment.
WMI is seeking individuals in multiple areas to join the team in the role of ammonia refrigeration service technician. This position involves troubleshooting and repairing all components of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and performing planned maintenance on all components of the systems. In order to succeed in this role, a person will need to have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to be mentored and to mentor others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete refrigeration service calls using your numerous skills and talents, which will promote Wagner-Meinert as the customers’
- Troubleshoot and repair all components of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
- Screw and Reciprocating Compressors
- Evaporative Condensers
- Evaporators
- Pumps
- Recirculating Packages
- Packaged Air Handling Units
- Packaged Chiller Units
- Operating Controls
- Planned Maintenance on all components of industrial refrigeration systems
Skills and Qualifications
- Positive attitude

- Basic computer skills

- 5 years of industrial refrigeration experience (preferred)
